Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Sukhbaatar Batbold agreed that Russia would provide Ulan Bator with 57,000 tonnes of fodder grain as humanitarian aid. Mongolia requested the aid after abnormally low temperatures causing a disastrous loss of cattle. The prime ministers also agreed that Mr Batbold would visit Russia in March.
