The President emphasized the need to make changes to environmental legislation conform with the requirements of energy efficiency.

Mr Medvedev also instructed the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Emergency Situations to prepare a check list of activities for the flood period, and meet with representatives of the regions where snow levels greatly exceed the annual average.
