OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2010. Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum arrived in Turkmenistan.

Vice President, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov greeted the distinguished guest at the airport in Mary on the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

As is known, during the recent official visit to the United Arab Emirates Turkmen leader visited Dubai, where he had a meeting with the Vice-President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. During the talks, which focused on the ways to enhance and develop mutually advantageous cooperation based on the imperishable traditions of friendship and fraternity between two peoples, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to visit Turkmenistan.

Upon arriving at the Mary airport the UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai expressed profound gratitude to the Turkmen leader for the invitation and an opportunity to visit Turkmenistan emphasizing that he considered it great honour.
