OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2010. The traditional annual luncheon meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov with the ambassadors of the CIS member states took place in Moscow on February 8.

During the meeting topical issues in cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States were discussed, including collaboration in the economic, political and humanitarian spheres, with special emphasis laid on themes relating to the current Russian CIS chairmanship and on the preparation of a CIS Council of Foreign Ministers meeting to be held in Moscow on March 26 this year.
