OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2010. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov paid a working visit to the Republic of Armenia from January 13-14. He was received by President Serzh Sargsyan and held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian.

During the talks in Yerevan, held in the businesslike and friendly atmosphere that characterizes the Russian-Armenian partnership, an exchange of views took place on topical issues of the bilateral and international agenda. Featuring prominently was the discussion of the problems in advancing the negotiation process on Nagorno Karabakh settlement.
