OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2009. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has met with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Usenov at Oqsaroy.

Greeting the guest with appointment to a position of Prime minister, Head of Uzbekistan noted that the participation of Kyrgyz delegation in the joint Uzbek-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission on such a level is remarkable in the efforts to improve mutual cooperation.

Today, developing bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on constructive base is a priority. In particular, taking into account the interests of neighboring countries and conducting independent international expertise is important to preserve water and energy balance in the region. Widening trade and economic as well as cultural cooperation is also essential.

At the talk, Daniyar Usenov expressed gratitude to the Head of our nation for warm welcome and delight with the high level of Uzbek-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission meeting held these days in Tashkent.
