The talks followed on from discussions begun the previous evening, during which Mr Medvedev and Mr Reinfeldt discussed bilateral cooperation in various areas and a number of international issues, including cooperation between Russia and the European Union, Middle East peace settlement, and the situation in Iran and Afghanistan.
