A ceremony of signing Bulgaria –Azerbaijan documents took place, with participation of President Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov, in Sophia.

Minister of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Natig Aliyev, and Bulgaria`s Minister of Economy, Energy, and Tourism, Traicho Traikov, signed a memorandum on cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Executive Director of Bulgaria`s Bulgartransgaz company Ivan Drenovichki and the Vice-President of SOCAR Elshad Nasirov signed a memorandum of understanding on gas transportation between Bulgartransgaz and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic.
