OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2009. Presidents Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov had a meeting at the Presidential Administration in Sophia.

The Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Georgi Parvanov had an official photo taken together.

Successful development of bilateral relations in various fields between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria was emphasized at the meeting.

The parties discussed economic ties, as well as the prospects for cooperation in energy sector. The Presidents expressed their assurances that Azerbaijan-Bulgaria relations would continue to strengthen.

The Presidents also exchanged ideas on regional cooperation and international issues.
