OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2009. President Ilham Aliyev received Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Dr Hamadoun Toure.

The President noted that even though the information and communication technologies sector has started developing relatively recently in Azerbaijan, huge progress has been made in this sphere. Highlighting the importance of the “BAKUTEL-2009” 15th Azerbaijan international telecommunication and information technologies exhibition, the President stated that the exhibition has been enlarging and experiencing increasing interests year by year.
