OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2009. President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the World Bank Managing Director Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

The President emphasized the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and World Bank.Recalling his recent meeting with a World Bank delegation, President Ilham Aliyev stated that discussions were conducted on the perspectives of cooperation. Conveying his hope that the Azerbaijan-World Bank cooperation would continue to develop in future, the President also expressed confidence that the trip of World Bank Managing Director, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, to Azerbaijan would be successful.
