OREANDA-NEWS. October 20, 2009. The Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization has received a package of documents on the CSTO Collective Rapid Response Force (CRRF) signed by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

The package of documents includes the agreement on the CSTO CRRF and the resolution of the CSTO Collective Security Council “On the composition of the Collective Rapid Response Force of the Collective Security Treaty Organization”. The President of Belarus has also signed the agreement concerning the main principles of the creation of a covert command and control system for the CSTO collective security forces.

The agreement on the Collective Rapid Response Force was reached by the CSTO member states in February this year.
