OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2009. Dmitry Medvedev and Gordon Brown discussed bilateral relations, first and foremost in the economic sphere, devoting some time to energy cooperation, including in researching alternative sources of energy.

The two leaders discussed international issues, particularly ones relating to nuclear non-proliferation, as well as Iran and North Korea’s nuclear programmes.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the G8 summit.
