OREANDA-NEWS. July 6, 2009. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov received on July 3 the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Liu Guchang, at the end of his work in Russia.

During a friendly conversation, Lavrov noted that Liu Guchang at the post of head of the Chinese diplomatic mission had actively helped advance Russia-China relations of interaction and partnership and done a great deal to strengthen good-neighborliness between the two countries.

His considerable input into Russian-Chinese relations was recognized with a Government of the Russian Federation Certificate of Merit and a Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Badge for Contribution to Advancement of International Cooperation.
