OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2009. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, on June 28 had a conversation with Vuk Jeremic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, on the sidelines of the informal meeting of heads of diplomatic agencies of the OSCE member states on Corfu, Greece.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the state of, and topical tasks in developing Russian-Serbian cooperation in the political, economic and commercial fields in the light of the accords reached at the highest level.

They reaffirmed the mutual readiness of Russia and Serbia for the close coordination of efforts on key international issues, including settlement of the Kosovo problem.
