OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2009. The Head of State expressed his satisfaction with successful development of Azerbaijan-Serbia bilateral relations. President Ilham Aliyev said both countries would continue to support each other within international organizations.

Azerbaijani leader noted there is the need for rapid development of bilateral ties, adding Serbian Foreign Minister`s visit will be an important step in this direction. President Ilham Aliyev pointed out there is good potential for development of Serbia-Azerbaijan relationship. According to Mr. Ilham Aliyev, strong reciprocal support within international organizations lay groundwork for closer cooperation. The Head of State noted concrete steps will be taken to outline areas for cooperation in not only the political but also economic, cultural fields.
