OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2009. Dmitry Medvedev and President of the People's Republic of China Hu Jintao attended a gala concert honouring the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and the PRC.
 
In his speech before the concert, the President of Russia stated that the relations between Russia and China were an excellent example of how to build a relationship between nations, noting that their experience in reaching consensus is worth being used on a wide scale across the globe.

Dmitry Medvedev noted that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China 60 years ago had great significance and emphasised that cooperation between the two countries has been and continues to be a major geostrategic factor.
