OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2009. The session was attended by President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha.

The leaders of the CSTO countries signed an Agreement on the Establishment of a Collective Rapid Reaction Force (CRRF).

The summit also resulted in the signing of a Declaration by heads of CSTO member countries and a number of documents on joint work through to 2012.

Later on, the heads of CSTO member states took a look at the CRRF military uniform models. The presidents emphasised that the military dress is modern and good quality, something which is fully consistent with the general purpose of the Rapid Reaction Force.
