OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 June President Alexander Lukashenko in the course of his meeting with Premier Karim Masimov of Kazakhstan announced, that the creation of a common customs space embracing Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan will not only become a good start for tackling the challenges posed by the world financial and economic crisis, but also have good prospects for the future. ‘If we create a common customs space, than we will have a common space from the Belarusian-Polish to the Chinese-Kazakh border, where no restrictive measures will be enforced, and we will act within the framework of our agreements. Even if there are any restrictions, we will still be able to find points of agreement once and for all,’ said Alexander Lukashenko.
