PM of Ukraine Not to Go on Vacation for Time of Election Campaign
OREANDA-NEWS On 10 June was announced, that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko doesn’t intend to go on vacation for a period of presidential election campaign. “I cannot leave the country during the crisis and go on vacation. I will not spend time on election campaign… I will continue governmental activity and will be protecting the country from crisis, while deputies will be making an election campaign,” the Head of Government emphasized during the press conference.
Thereupon Yulia Tymoshenko said she and her team stands completely poised for the presidential campaign and expressed assurance in their victory. At this, she underlined it would be better if elections were held on October 25 “in order to put an end to the chaos reigning over the country”.
In addition Yulia Tymoshenko imparted her main competitor during the elections would be Viktor Yanukovych: “it was known from 2004 that our teams have been rivaling. And a real battle for the victory in presidential elections will flare up just between our two teams”.
