OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2009. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has commissioned in a ten-day term, with attending the spot of tragedy, to find out the reasons which caused illness of 8 pupils of a secondary school aged 7-15 years, who were hospitalized to an infection section of Verkhovynsky central regional hospital with a presumptive diagnosis of gastroenterocolitis.

The commission was given to the Minister of Health Vasyl Knyazevych, Minister of Education and Science Ivan Vakarchuk, president of Academy of Medical Sciences Olexandr Vozianov and head of Ivan-Frankivsk region Mykola Paliychuk in connection with information in media.

Thereupon Yulia Tymoshenko instructed also to ensure organizational, anti-epidemiological and preventive measures to avoid spread of gastroenterocolitis among pupils and to analyze revealed violations and take measures towards those guilty.
