The governor briefed the President, in particular, on the outlook for housing construction development, and the situation in the agriculture sector and on the labour market.

Mr Mevedev noted the need to subsidise mortgage loans for some groups of the population, and also stressed the importance for regions to build up their produce resources and develop their food markets.
