OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2009. The top-level talks that will take place in Berlin are expected to focus on the global financial and economic crisis in the run-up to the G20 summit in London on April 1–2, 2009.

Bilateral issues will also be on the agenda, including measures to step up Russian-German trade and economic and humanitarian cooperation.

The visit will take place at the invitation of Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel.
