OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2009. They discussed issues of integration and cooperation between Russia and Belarus, particularly the implementation of decisions taken at the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, which was held in Moscow on 3 February 2009.

The meeting looked at ways to further expand economic cooperation, issues relating to the implementation of joint actions to minimise the impact of the financial crisis, bettering certain elements in the balance of payments and improving conditions for entrepreneurship and trade.
