OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2009. Leadership of Uzbekneftegaz national oil and gas company and the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Murli S. Deora held a meeting in Tashkent, the Uzbek company said.

The talks were held during short-term transit stop of Indian ministers in Tashkent, Uzbekneftegaz said.

The parties discussed issues of possible expansion of partnership, including cooperation of Uzbekneftegaz with India's GAIL (Gas Authority of India Ltd) and ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd).
