OREANDA-NEWS  On 04 March was announced, that the First Vice Prime Minister Olexandr Turchynov held a meeting with the Minister for European Affairs of the Kingdom of Netherlands Frans Timmermans. In the course of the meeting interlocutors have dwelt upon issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.

According to Olexandr Turchynov a crucial impetus in growing of mutual collaboration can become creating of free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union.

Furthermore, the parties considered the ways of overcoming of the fallouts of the world financial crunch. “Creating of favourable investment conditions is one of the ways out of the downturn,” the First Vice Premier stressed.

In his turn, Frans Timmermans emphasized on strategic meaning of Ukraine for Europe. He assured Olexandr Turchynov on readiness to further deepen relations between Ukraine and the EU.
