OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2009. The meeting discussed the results of the Prosecutor General’s Office’s work in 2008 and its priority tasks for 2009. The main subjects on the agenda were the fight against corruption, terrorism and crime, and social issues, in particular guaranteeing citizens’ rights and lawful interests during the economic crisis.

Taking part in the collegium’s work were Chairman of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov, Chairman of the State Duma Boris Gryzlov, President of the Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin, President of the Supreme Court Vyacheslav Lebedev, President of the Supreme Arbitration Court Anton Ivanov, and the heads of federal ministries and agencies.
