OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 February 2009 was announced, that the public chamber of Murmansk area is revolted by the situation which has developed on the threshold of elections of the head of municipal union of Murmansk. Members of Chamber have accepted today the reference which says:

"During pre-election campaign by the Murmansk city organisation of political party" Uniform Russia "there is an unprecedented pressure upon the Governor of Murmansk area Evdokimova J.A. as on the party member, on purpose to force it publicly to support one of candidates. Mass party actions, local and federal funds of the mass information which extend frank insults, threats, slander to the Governor are for this purpose used.

The actions the local organisation of party "Uniform Russia" undermines authority and the irreparable damage of party and the government causes, discredits adherence of party to democratic principles, destabilises political conditions in region. "

Members of Chamber also have asked to state an estimation of actions of Murmansk heads of "Uniform Russia", whether they will be co-ordinated with a general line of party, its purposes and problems.

The reference is directed the chairman "Uniform Russia" to Vladimir Putin, the head of fraction "ЕР" in the State Duma to Boris Gryzlov, the chairman of the Central Electoral Committee Evgenie Churovu, the public prosecutor of Murmansk area Maxim Ershov and another.
