OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 February was announced, that Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev met with Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Dimitris Sioufas in Athens.

They expressed satisfaction at the progress made in bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Greece. The parliamentary cooperation was also discussed and both the Azerbaijani President and Greek Speaker said it contributes to overall development of the bilateral relations.

Dimitris Sioufas presented President Ilham Aliyev with the gold medal of the Hellenic Parliament.
