According to the President, 43 million roubles will be allocated in 2009 to supporting regional employment programs. First and foremost, financing will go toward supporting temporary employment programmes and targeted support for citizens, particularly in relocating for work to other regions, as well as developing small businesses and providing advance professional and technical education when the threat of layoffs arises.
