OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2008.  The two leaders discussed the Russian-Serbian cooperation in the energy, trade and economic spheres.

Dmitry Medvedev and Boris Tadic took part in the signing ceremony of the Russian-Serbian documents to implement the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the oil and gas sector. This agreement was signed on January 25, 2008 in Moscow.

A treaty on the acquisition of a controlling stake in the Naftna Industrija Srbjie (NIS) by Gazpromneft and a memorandum concerning the Serbian stretch of the South Stream pipeline project and the Banatski Dvor gas storage facility were signed.

Following their talks, Mr Medvedev and Mr Tadic made press statements.
