OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2008. At the meeting with Russian and Brazilian business community, Mr Medvedev said that in the next few years, Russian-Brazilian trade can be brought to USD 10 billion. He said that the two countries should put more emphasis on high-tech and energy in their trade.

Mr Medvedev pointed out that Russia and Brazil are developing along similar patterns and setting an example of what progress modern countries can make. They have every reason to hope to lead the world in economic growth rates. Mr Medvedev also emphasised that Russian-Brazilian cooperation is of major importance for the rest of the world.
