Leaders of Turkmenistan and Turkey Held Telephone Conversation
OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2008. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul had a telephone conversation.
The Turkish leader cordially congratulated the President of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people on the 17th anniversary of independence and wished new impressive accomplishments on the path of strengthening the foundations of sovereignty and implementing the grandiose reform programmes guaranteeing the welfare and prosperity to the country for many years ahead.
Focusing on the Turkish people’s adherence to the original ties of fraternity, the cultural and spiritual kinship with the Turkmen people Abdullah Gul called for enhancing these ties in the new historical epoch that had provided immense opportunities for fruitful mutually advantageous collaboration.
Thanking for the heartfelt congratulations and wishes Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished happiness and welfare to the President of the Republic of Turkey noting that Turkmenistan intended advancing along the way of friendship and co-operation with their Turkish brothers who had profoundly contributed to the achievements of the epoch in independence.
In conclusion Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Abdullah Gul expressed belief that the relations of friendship and fraternity between Turkmenistan and Turkey would be firm and exchanged the wishes of peace and prosperity to the peoples of two countries.
