OREANDA-NEWS. On October 16, a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia Antonio Milososki took place on the sidelines of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue ministerial meeting held in Astana.

During the conversation, the mindset was reconfirmed to continue Russian-Macedonian political dialogue and to reinvigorate bilateral economic and commercial cooperation, primarily in the fuel and energy sector.

There were given on the Russian side assessments of the current situation in Transcaucasia.

Special attention was paid to the conditions in the Balkan region in the context of the Kosovo problem.
