OREANDA-NEWS. October 8, 2008. During a working breakfast, Mr Medvedev and Mr Sarkozy discussed in detail the situation on the world financial markets and possible collective measures for decisions within the G8 and other international groups to overcome the global financial crisis.

The two Presidents also examined a number of issues concerning the development of Russian-European Union relations.
