OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2008. After Ukrainian-Latvian talks Presidents Victor Yushchenko and Valdis Zatlers signed a Joint Statement.

Also, in their presence, delegates from both countries signed the following bilateral documents:
Program of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Latvia for 2008-2009.
Agreement on cooperation between the State Committee of Ukraine for Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy and Latvia Consumer Rights Protection Centre.
Agreement on cooperation in standardization between the State Committee of Ukraine for Technical Regulation and Latvian National Organization for Standardization.
