President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko signed the Charter for the Council of the Presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Ukraine and Declaration on Friendship and Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Ukraine on cooperation in the fields of informatization and information technologies, Program between the ministry of youth and sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the ministry on family, children and youth Affairs of Ukraine for cooperation in the fields of youth policy and sports for 2008-2009, Protocol on Cooperation between the ministries of culture and tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine for 2008-2012, Memorandum of Understanding between the State committee on securities under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State commission on securities and stock market of Ukraine, Agreement on cooperation in the field of public service between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine were signed”.
