OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2008. The President of Korea warmly congratulated Mr Medvedev his new tenure and expressed his hope for the progressive development of Russian-Korean relations.

During the talks the two presidents exchanged views on several regional issues and discussed the schedule for forthcoming high-level contacts.

The conversation took place at South Korean initiative.
