OREANDA-NEWS. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, on May 20, in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly, met with deputies who are members of the Duma committees on the CIS and relations with compatriots, on international affairs, on defense and on security. Speaking at the meeting, Lavrov touched on a number of topical international issues concerning, in particular, the participation of the Russian Federation in the integration processes within the CIS, the settlement of conflicts in the CIS space as well as support of Russian compatriots living abroad.
