OREANDA-NEWS. On May 20, a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Ali Babajan, took place at the Turkish side’s initiative.

The ministers exchanged views on key issues in Russian-Turkish relations. A schedule for likely next contacts at the political level and between the two countries’ foreign ministries was discussed.
