OREANDA-NEWS. A telephone conversation took place on May 19 between Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov and Micheline Calmy-Rey, head of the Federal Department (Minister) of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation.

The ministers discussed progress in carrying out the Memorandum between the MFA of Russia and the FDFA of Switzerland on the Promotion of Bilateral Cooperation signed in Moscow on November 9, 2007 and exchanged views on certain pressing international problems, in particular, on the situation surrounding the Iranian nuclear program.
