OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2008. President Dmitry Medvedev signed decrees on the restructuring of the executive branch of power and personal appointments.

In accordance with item D of article 83 of the Russian Constitution, Mr Medvedev made the following appointments:
Viktor Zubkov - First Deputy Prime Minister
Igor Shuvalov - First Deputy Prime Minister
Sergei Sobyanin - Deputy Prime Minister – Government Chief of Staff
Alexander Zhukov - Deputy Prime Minister
Igor Sechin - Deputy Prime Minister
Sergei Ivanov - Deputy Prime Minister
Alexei Kudrin - Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance
Yury Trutnev - Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology
Igor Shchyogolev - Minister of Communications and Mass Media
Alexander Avdeyev - Minister of Culture
Andrei Fursenko - Minister of Education and Science
Tatyana Golikova - Minister of Health and Social Development
Alexander Konovalov - Minister of Justice
Anatoly Serdyukov - Minister of Defence
Sergei Lavrov - Minister of Foreign Affairs
Sergei Shoigu - Minister of Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief
