OREANDA-NEWS. Ecologically pure products will be grown on lands suitable for organic agriculture, for which a separate GOST will be developed.  Previously, the initiative of certification of agricultural land made "Support Russia".

 Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeyev approved the project’s roadmap.  The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has developed a "road map", which implies the adoption of the law "On environmentally friendly agricultural products, raw materials and food."  In addition, special GOST standards for such products will be approved.  Quality control is planned to be entrusted to the network of laboratories, which has yet to be created.

 The press service of Alexei Gordeev said that the introduction of the Russian green brand will be consistent with international best practices in the development of the organic food industry.  Moreover, it will help fight the massive fraud of organic food.
