OREANDA-NEWS  Russia and Guinea-Bissau have developments in the issue of resource extraction, and the parties expect to continue projects in this area, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with Channel One.

He noted that the cooperation between the two countries is not limited only to rare earth metals, there are Russian companies interested in these projects.

"There are certain developments - this is not some kind of innovation, there are already results of the work done in this direction. And the projects, we hope, will continue and be implemented," Peskov said, speaking about cooperation between the two countries in the field of geology and resource extraction.

On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with Guinea-Bissau leader Amaru Sissoko Embola, who is in Russia on a state visit.
