OREANDA-NEWS. According to the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, the Russian vaccine is being promoted abroad quite successfully, and it is in great demand in different countries.

Dmitry Peskov points out that Russian vaccine is vividly interested on different world markets, it is very actively proposed within the framework of cooperation with other states. The Russian Direct Investment Fund is promoting the vaccine in the international format, and it operates very effectively. Drug against coronavirus is greatly welcomed everywhwhere, so a number of states expect a new anti-virus product. The results of its work are visible - officials all over the world show increased interest and demand for the new medicine of Russian scientists.

For instance, last week, President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud discussed cooperation in the fight against coronavirus and the prospects for using the Russian vaccine Sputnik-V. Against this backdrop, journalists asked a Kremlin representative whether it is planned to supply the vaccine to Saudi Arabia and if the members of the royal family want to be vaccinated by the Russian medical preparation. Peskov answered that it would be better to ask about it the representatives of the royal family themselves.

In August, the Russian vaccine Sputnik V produced by the N.F. Gamaleya received a registration certificate from the Russian Ministry of Health, becoming the first officially registered coronavirus vaccine in the world, which has been created on the basis of human adenovirus vectors. RDIF and partners are also conducting clinical trials of the medical preparation in Belarus, the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela.
