OREANDA-NEWS The press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov commented on reports of attempts to break through Ukrainian saboteurs in the Belgorod region. According to him, Vladimir Putin has already been informed about the incident.

"The Ministry of Defense, the FSB and the border service reported to the President of Russia - the Supreme Commander," Peskov  said.

He stressed that at the moment work is underway to squeeze out Ukrainian friends from the territory of the Russian Federation and destroy them.

Peskov stressed that the purpose of such actions on the part of Ukraine is to divert attention from the Artem direction, as well as to "minimize the political effect" after the loss of the city's APU.

Earlier, an RT source reported that Ukrainian saboteurs seized a House of Culture in the village of Gora-Podol in the Belgorod region. By that time it was reported that the enemies were surrounded.
