OREANDA-NEWS  Media reports about the plans of the Russian side to eliminate the CEO of Rheinmetall, which supplies weapons to Ukraine, are filed in the style of fakes, it is impossible to take them seriously, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

"It is very difficult for us to comment on reports from various media outlets that do not contain any serious arguments and are based on some anonymous sources. All this is presented in the style of regular fakes, so you can't take such messages seriously," Peskov told reporters on Friday.

This is how he commented on CNN reports, citing anonymous sources, that the United States and Germany this year prevented the contract killing of Armin Papperger, CEO of Rheinmetall, which supplies weapons to Ukraine. According to CNN, Russia allegedly hatched plans for such an attempt.
