OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin's relations with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko are warm and constructive. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reports.

Peskov said that Putin congratulated Lukashenko on his anniversary on Friday morning, and also sent him a telegram and signed a decree awarding the President of Belarus the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called.

"Indeed, there are very warm and constructive, allied and friendly relations between Putin and Lukashenko, and in every sense the state of Belarus is our ally," the press secretary told reporters.
