OREANDA-NEWS  The volume of soybean production in Russia this year will approach 7 million tons, and its processing will also increase, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev.

"Ten years ago we produced about 1.5 million tons of soybeans, this year we will approach the mark of 7 million tons ... Last year we exported 1.5 million tons of soybeans, and this year we will reduce the volume of soybean exports for one simple reason - we need to increase the supply of products with higher added value. This year we will process more soybeans and export soybean meal," Patrushev said.
