Online Trading Audience in Russia Has Grown by 40% since the Beginning of 2020

OREANDA-NEWS. The number of users of online stores in the Russian Federation grew by 40% in April compared to January 2020, according to a study by Yandex.Market Analytics.
“The audience of online trading in Russia for four months (from January to April) grew by 40%. The largest increase was shown by an audience under the age of 17 - there were 65% more such users. In second place was between 18 and 24 years (+ 62%), and in the third - between the ages of 35 and 44 years (+ 47%). Among users over 55 years of age, they became interested in online shopping 32% more often. The audience of men and women grows approximately the same", analysts.
The online store audience in the Northwestern Federal District has grown the most - by 47% compared to January 2020.
